Half-day mountain bike excursion, which includes a City Tour through Puerto Williams, a short trek of great scenic and natural value on the outskirts of the city, and a walk through the Punta Gusano sector, a birdwatching hot spot in the vicinity of the city.
We start at our office with the MTB bikes, to the center of Puerto Williams. A walk in which we will show the peculiarities of the city and that will end at the Martín Gusinde Anthropological Museum or at the Micalvi Yacht Club. From this place we will then head west along roads and some trails, and discovering while pedaling some vestiges of the Beagle conflict, and others much older left by the Yaganes, nomadic canoeists who rowed through these latitudes since ancient times without understanding borders. Landscape photography and birds will accompany us in this activity.
Finally, 7 kilometers from Puerto Williams we will arrive at the Puente de los Bronces, a place where we will leave the bicycles and start a walk to immerse ourselves in the southernmost forests on the planet, and whose end is the most famous waterfall on Navarino Island. Back we are invited to share a snack and toast with local craft beer for this shared experiential day, and back to Puerto Williams!
