We will start the tour at our office and walk to the center of Puerto Williams, where we will show you the peculiarities of the city, ending at the Martín Gusinde Anthropological Museum or at the Micalvi Yacht Club. From there, we will get in the van and take a trip back in time to discover remnants of the Beagle conflict and other much older ones left by the Yaghan people, nomadic canoeists who paddled these latitudes since ancestral times, oblivious to borders. Along the way, opportunities for landscape and bird photography are abundant.
At the end, we will arrive at the bridge “Puente de los Bronces”, where we will begin a hike and immerse ourselves in the southernmost forests on the planet, ending at the most famous waterfall on Navarino Island. Upon our return, we are invited to enjoy some snacks and cheer with local craft beer to this shared immersive experience!
First part of the Dientes de Navarino Heritage Route. A 3.5-kilometer hike uphill through the southernmost forests leading to the summit of Cerro Bandera, an iconic landmark with breathtaking panoramic views.
